Here's an
amusing article about Ward Churchill. I like the way Labash approaches his subject. I also find the view of the fringe funny in a disturbing way. Have to give Labash credit, I don't have the time or inclination to spend arguing with this Walking Eagle. Now that's comedy.
I think Labash is brilliant. His articles remind of the stuff P.J. O'Rourke used to write for Rolling Stone in the mid-80's - my favorite being an account of what orderly rioters the Koreans are. When the war started in April 2003, Labash had a great article, which you would appreciate, about all the gear he bought to go in as a war correspondent and the difficulties he had getting out of Kuwait as an unimbedded reporter.
