I'm not really angry either. Beaten into a near senseless state of catatonia. Constantly amazed or dazed.
My hope is that the feud between Hillary and Obama tears at the Democratic party and eventually moves people to the right. Exposing the far left of the party can be a good thing. Who better to pull the curtain aside than a Clinton? Perfect.
That may be the most insightful political commentary I've ever read. I think that guy has described me and my core beliefs to T for the most part (guns and bumper welding excepted). Impressive.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the D's are concerned, I probably disagree with almost all of Obama's positions, but I appreciate that he seems to want to take the high road and in general seems to be a decent fellow. His problem though is that he's wrasslin' gators and pretty soon the Clintons will drag him into the mire, where they operate most effectively.
It will be interesting to see if the Democratic convention ends up in some kind of litigation (a la Bush/Gore). The new talk is that with the primary tides turning against HC, she'll try to get the committed delegates to switch from Obama to her. There's your disenfranchisement for you. It's gonna be ugly come August.
