I'm all for doing away with the Space Shuttle program except for what's necessary for national defense. It's literally a black hole in the budget and I tend to a agree that the thing is a junker. At the minimum, NASA should have to explain what the tangible benefits of the program are to the taxpayers. Ain't worth it if you ask me.
